The Prestige

I really think that The Prestige is a great movie. First and foremost, Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale did a superb job in playing the role of the two illisionists who are competing against each other for that coveted fame, to the point that the their obsession with magic has brought their lives and those around them to ruin.

Scarlett Johansson also did a good job though her role was kinda minor. Nevertheless, she was able to make her every scene count despite the fact that she was confined by the character she is playing. Surely, Scarlet could do better than that but since that was what was required of her, she only did what she had to do.

The storyline is great considering that it's Christopher Nolan's work we are talking about here. There were just little nitty-grittys in the middle part that I find boring and dragging. However, the scenes towards the ending were greatly executed.

All in all, great movie. I enjoyed it.
